Interns play a prominent role in the successful progress of our dance programs. While receiving a well rounded, comprehensive view of Tap Fever Studios as a school, and community resource, an intern’s dedication to education and service will, in turn, better the organization.

Tap Fever Studios in Pacific Beach has part-time, ongoing Internship positions available! These internship are great for people interested in all aspects of behind-the-scenes work for a non-profit dance organization. Our Internships are especially pertinent to dancers who are exploring career options while in high school or college. This is a rare opportunity to sample the real world of dance. Qualified candidates will have an opportunity to gain job experience in a fun, comfortable environment, participate in dance classes, and even assist with classes and events.

Each internship experience will be different, depending on your strengths and goals, but primarily focused on Videography & Marketing. If you are interested in opportunities to expand your skill set in any of the following areas, send us an email: dance@tapfever.com.

A laptop & software will be provided during the internship.

Tap Fever’s Executive Director will utilize the experience from her prior career in television to mentor the interns. Larisa Hall has degrees in Television and Radio Production and has worked in many areas of both fields from 1997 to 2008. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we grant dance scholarships, offer accessible dance classes, and have built a strong bond with our community. We want to make sure that everyone who has the desire to dance is given an opportunity. Contributions to Tap Fever Studios go toward the expansion of our special programs and outreach. Representing all the major disciplines with tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, and acro dance classes, people from all walks of life learn how to mobilize the rhythm from their hearts. Students are offered a strong foundation through fun & dynamic classes that accelerate basic skills into fantastic moves!
