Watch Us Dance in our Dance Shows!

Tap Fever Studios produces 3 dance shows for family and friends to experience all the hard work that our dancers have put in to learning their craft. At the end of each of Tap Fever’s three sessions of 16-week classes, there is a performance featuring dancers of all ages, in the styles of tap, ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, and jazz.

Limelight

April is when we hold a 2-hour recital called “Limelight”. We order beautiful costumes, perform on a professional stage, sell raffle tickets and concessions, and an emcee hosts. All students have the opportunity to participate. This is our biggest performance of the year, and is the studio’s biggest fundraiser!

Shindig

August is when we have our very fun, informal show called “Shindig”, which takes place at an outdoor amphitheater. There is no cost for this event, but a donations are greatly appreciated. The show is just one hour long, and is followed by a pot-luck picnic. Kids will be able to enjoy the playground and/or the bounce house!

Frosty Follies

December is when we put on a performance called “Frosty Follies”. This show is a fun-filled 1.5 hours of all your favorite holiday/seasonal music! While raising money for the studio, this show also brings holiday cheer to all.

More Opportunities to See Us Shine!

★ Competitions: Check out our dance teams in February/March as they compete with the best of the best. There is no fee to watch these competitions and support our great dancers.
★ Senior Homes: We love spreading the joy of dance to our community! Local senior homes get the opportunity to see our fantastic dancers, free of charge!
★ Taptastic!: Our tap teams create an awesome annual performance to celebrate National Tap Dance Day, which falls on May 25th. Our show is held the Sunday before.
★ Fringe Festival: In June we extend our best tap numbers from our May “Taptastic!” performance into a show for all of San Diego’s art-loving community to enjoy.
★ Disneyland: Our dance teams travel up to Anaheim to perform at Disney’s California Adventure each year at the end of September.
