As a Community Partner with the Girl Scouts of San Diego, Tap Fever Studios provides fantastic opportunities, designed to challenge and inspire all participants. In our workshops, all grade levels can earn badges, journeys, and awards! Plus, there are always opportunities to volunteer for community service.
Workshop Request
All petal, badge, and journey workshops are 90-minute long, and take place at Tap Fever Studios. The cost is $20 per Girl Scout, with a minimum of 5 kids, maximum of 20. Highest Awards (multi-day/large projects) will be on a varying price scale, depending on the total time involved. Tap Fever patches are available after each workshop for $5 each.

• Ability Awareness and Inclusion Anyone can dance if given the chance. Learn how to assist dancers with disabilities at Tap Fever Studios!
• Blind Aware Patch Learn how kids that are blind or visually impaired tap dance at Tap Fever Studios!
• Art of Ballet Learn technique, terminology, and choreography from a professional ballerina at Tap Fever Studios!
• Helping Hands There are many ways to earn community service hours through Tap Fever Studios!

Highest Awards
• Gold Award Seniors and Ambassadors earn the Gold Award, the highest award in Girl Scouting, by developing and carrying out lasting solutions to issues in their neighborhoods and beyond. Gold Award Girl Scouts truly are the world changers, rock stars, role models, and real-life heroes we all look up to. Plus, they’re amazing candidates for colleges, scholarships, competitive internship programs, and exciting careers.
• Silver Award Cadettes earn the Silver Award by researching an issue, making a plan to address it, and then taking action to improve their communities.
• Bronze Award Juniors earn the Bronze Award by teaming up with other girls to make a difference in their towns.
On-site, after-school programs to engage girls in activities relating to specific topics; can be a one-time program or occur over a period of weeks/months.
